Everything Rosemary: Fogartyville

The Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center is a project of The Peace Education and Action Center.
Promoting empowerment and expression through media and arts education and performance.

Fogartyville is a gathering place where art, culture, music and politics collide to inspire social change.
The Peace Education and Action Center is a central hub for community organizing; providing education and resources to those working to bring about positive social change and inspiring actions that support a more peaceful and just world.
On the stage you’ll find musicians of different genres. Americana, folk-rock, blues and jazz are a few that you might hear when attending an event at Fogartyville.
The strum of an acoustic guitar or a melody coming from the accordion, musicians bring a variety of new sound to Sarasota.
At Fogartyville artistic expression is encouraged. Whether you’re looking to hear good music and dance, or you’re just looking to meet creative people in the community, the events here embrace each personality that attends an event.

Musicians and arts lovers find themselves submerged in the culture of the Rosemary District. Bands from New York, to West Virginia, to Puerto Rico and even local Floridians have performed here.
More than an indoor venue, Fogartyville also boasts an outdoor venue.

Fogertyville also has one of the most lively outdoor venues in Sarasota, adding to the diverse culture and flavor of the Rosemary District.
